Topic: WHERE DOES THE HOSE GO on CB650

LOOKING FOR THE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER END OF BREATHER HOSE ON A 79 CB650. I SEE A NIPPLE END ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE VALVE COVER. FROM THERE TO WHERE?

I'm feeling pressure coming from this fitting. Is it going down to the drain area and just suspended or is it attached to another item?

The hose connects to the valve cover which connect to the air breather box. That will recirculate the blow-by gas from the engine. Then there is a hose connected to the bottom of the air box for oil waste which should be emptied 1-2 a year. In Canada the hose is left open to drain into our water streams..

Just re read your post. Yours is a 79 my son has a 80.. huge difference..

My 79 goes from the valve cover to the airbox
