Interesting stuff, I wonder how much heat it can handle because back in the days when I played with cars some would go so far as coat certain engine components with teflon, not for it's lubricating potential but for it's ability to shed itself of oil so the oil could get back to the oil pan faster. I messed with Pontiacs and even with a stock oil pump they could suck a stock oil pan dry at high rpm's so when building one for even just mild high performance use a lot of attention to detail was made smoothing out casting flash on the block and cyl head castings for that reason.
