I'd love to coat my entire bike (and gear) in this stuff. How would it react on tires?

Probably a terrible idea for tires and would probably break down under high temps.

As for the tire application I would be more worried about how my tire would stick to the ground when the ground is wet.  Based on this video you would guess that it would be one wild ride in the rain.

Interesting stuff, I wonder how much heat it can handle because back in the days when I played with cars some would go so far as coat certain engine components with teflon, not for it's lubricating potential but for it's ability to shed itself of oil so the oil could get back to the oil pan faster. I messed with Pontiacs and even with a stock oil pump they could suck a stock oil pan dry at high rpm's so when building one for even just mild high performance use a lot of attention to detail was made smoothing out casting flash on the block and cyl head castings for that reason.

it has essentially no abrasion resistance. So it could maybe work in some places.. then again the wind on the highway might be too abrasive.

Still cool though, makes it easy to imagine wearing cloths in 20yrs that never get wet.

Their site says working temp of -30 to 300 but has been effective up to 500.
The base is $58 a quart and topcoat is $101 a quart in case anybody was wondering like I was
