Nominate for Bike Of The Month - March 2013
« on: February 04, 2013, 02:05:34 PM »
It's Nominatin' Time!

February 2013 BOTM Voting Thread - http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=117215.0

Congratulations Jerry Rxman Griffin for being the February 2013 BOTM winner!

I will let this run until about 2/15/13 and then start the voting thread.  Hopefully this will be enough time to get at least two nominations.  Looks like we may be back on track.

Please Nominate, Second and Accept using those words.  It makes it easier for me to setup the voting threads.  It gets cryptic at times.

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Uhhh.... is this a members' bike?

Can I nominate it if it's not?

I do not know if that is a members bike.  If it is, you/someone needs to know at least the SOHC4 forum name.  Is it being sold?  I did not click the link.  Maybe the new owner will show up to the forum sometime.

Nearly 5k and reserve price prevented the sale. Maybe 'Member' is the correct  moniker,  but I don't think he has anything to do with sohc4.net.

With Syd being sort of new here I did send him a PM to let him know of the nomination and that he will need to accept. Ball is in his court now...

The green one is done, did the carb synch several weeks ago, but haven't had time to test ride it in longer than few blocks down the street.

Sometime I have the entrepreneur spirit and like to self promote  ::) ;D

Yes it's done.

I'll accept the nomination. Just don't know how to do it. I can weld ok, build engines ok, navigate a forum? Not so much.

Thanks,

Gary

Thanks for the nomination!  I accept.

I wanted a CB 750 ever since they first came out. Took me over 40 years to get my first one. Glad you all like it.

My 3 favorite all time bikes:

1. '74 Honda Elsinore
2. CB 750 SOHC
3. Kawasaki H1

Hope you see a little of each in this bike.

Thanks,

Gary
