Is there something about it that makes you suspect it is out of tolerance?

I have a 74 CB550 with 47000 miles (~76ooo km) on the original cam chain.  Still runs like a scalded cat.  Weeps oil, though.

done, just a cabron clean and new gaskets :) you have saved me like $200! i owe you, what do you guys drink over there?  ;D

but seriously, thanks for sharing your expertise. im still very new to this kinda thing with this being my first bike and all.

i just want to find a better way of cleaning my motors old flakey paint off, the paint stripper i used worked, but not all that well. as mentioned in the other post, i will try the soda blasting tomorrow and see how that goes, then maybe do my barrels and head while keeping everything taped up and sealed. i wonder if it will get the carbon from my combustion chambers? ???
