I got an all new oil tank kit from bung king and having a pro hot rod shop weld it up.  The Stanley Bros... good group of guys

This is where it stands, need a few more little parts and it will be on the road

Finished the foot brake lever
Used an old shifter for the round tube, it was a perfect fit


Shortened the factory spline shaft and lever



Renthal handlebars support as my brake stay


Clears the exhaust



How she looks now, i think this is the paint idea im gonna go for, two tone, blue and black. reverse the colors on the fender and match the oil tank.




Finally added a kickstand, this is before i clean up the welds and smooth it out


Soon hopefully very soon, it will be finished or at least driveable

Just came across your build  8) ...have to admit I slapped my forehead a couple times at first  ::) but I'm really glad you decided to do it the right way. I'm impressed with how it's turning out and I'm really diggin the look.  Keep up the good work man I'm interested to see how she'll turn out!

P.s. love the sprocket on the kickstand! haha

Not much progress cause i am in the middle of moving, This is the bike at my friends house and i think i am going to paint my oil tank similiar to this...

I think I have figured out the paint theme i will go with...

Black and blue prob metal flake blue of some sort...
The silver on the oil tank will be black, and all the lines will be straight,  this painters tape is just so i can change it until i like it

Foot pegs are from a dirt bike not sure what model or year. I made them fit the factory support arms

Beautiful job man! Any possibility to get a video of it running up? I got those same set of pipes (in terrible condition) but I'd love to hear what they sound like. never used em' yet
