Air/fuel mixture (pilot) screw o-ring and washer?
« on: February 01, 2023, 09:13:16 PM »
I just got done with a head-to-toe carb rebuild and realize that I misplaced the air/fuel mixture screw/jet o-rings and washers... I have no idea where to get Tham or what the part numbers for them are. The o-rings (4) and washers (4) are for a 1974 cb750k model. Any help on where I can find 'em and/or part #'s would be extremely appreciated!!! Thanks

Maybe your model doesn't have them. Please specify your model (the year is meaningless) and what number is stamped in on your carbs. Then we can help.

Only the PD style carbs need an o ring and washer.  The earlier carb style air bleed pilot screws only regulate air, so doesn’t matter if they leak a bit.  It does matter on Idle Mixture Screws which regulate mixed air and fuel, which the PD style carbs have.

Mr. Brandon, congrats, your 657a and -b carbs are the old style carbs and not the PD type, so the airscrews do NOT need a washer and an O-ring.
