The cost is $625.00 plus shipping. You need to send me a good starter gear the one that on the end of the crank.
You can send your complete alternator minus the flywheel and I will do  80% of the install.

                                                                                                                  Anders

Anders, I would eventually like 3, I'll jump in for 1 at the moment, but sending a good starter gear from Australia would add considerably to the cost, any suggestions...?    Mike, got a good starter gear laying around..?   Anyone...?
I may have one Mick. It is too bad you can't just cut them on a lathe as you will go through the flame hardened surface

I'm not too sure what the process is Mike, do the starter gears  need to be modified...?

I was also wondering about the mods to the starter gear, Mick, to the point of reading back through the entire thread until my eyes are now bleeding. The only thing of interest I found was why I developed a mistrust for technical advice from a certain member. ;)

Photo of the kit?
Starter gear is the big sprocket on crank, right? Small sprocket on motor does not matter as long as it is Ok...?
Rectifier need to be replaced too? Which is recommended if not included?

I sometimes get the feeling to order parts to my CB750 while available despite no need of it at the moment. But maybe in a near future... I changed my lamps to LED to ensure charging. Better charging system will offer better margins.
I hope this will be still available later this year.

Ill just repeat again that for me Anders alt upgrade as been great on my 750K4. Starts up every time no issue, bright lights, able to run heated gear (jacket and gloves), thousands of miles on the upgrade.

Anders is a top mechanic and skilled machinist so buy with confidence! Plus he stands behind his work 110%.

cheers
Andy
