Mixing Yosh Pistons with Honda Rings?
« on: February 12, 2013, 07:40:43 AM »
Is it possible/advisable to use Yoshimura pistons with Honda rings and wrist pins or are they specific to their brand?

Please do use Honda rings on Yosh pistons, etc. CB350 twin rings on the Yosh 812 pistons. They work great.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Jerry thanks for the reply, I thought so but wanted to make sure.  I was worried I wouldn't be able to find or afford Yosh rings, and wrist pins to go with Yoshimura 550 pistons I picked up.  They're for a future build but would have just flipped them if I couldn't use stock rings. Anyway thanks for the heads up.
