Welcome Gary. Do you ride on the street at all these days? The reason I ask is we have had a relay for SOHC fours, going on for 2 years now. The first year, we did go through Kingman, thanks to a few fellows there with Denver's choppers. Perhaps you know of them? We are now in the planning stages of this year's relay: maybe Kingman should be included in the route once again?

Denvers Choppers, Denver Mullins was a cool guy. I knew him well. A friend of mine still has a original Denvers cb750 chopper. I still remember the first time i tried to ride that thing with the long a$$ extended front end.   :o  What a b!tch !!   >:(  I live just a couple of miles from the original location of the shop. It was a very sad day when Denver crashed his drag boat and drowned.  :'(
His partner Mondo is a cool dude also. He is still carying on with Denvers Choppers in Reno, Nevada.

I whipped him 3 times that year in top sportsman myself on my Kaw. He hated it. I managed to finish the year in 4th place. I don't think he made the top 10.

You guys started his streak of bad luck.

Yes. I saw Bo run the 7.03 at Ontario. Got to know Mike Grey later when he raced with Elmer.  Great stories about that deal.
