thanks guys for the answer, never too old to learn, that's why I am asking !

@sohc boy that's interesting right there. If it works for you, it doesn't matter who's joking about it. They are probably inquiring ;-)
I am all for cheap(er) solutions that work. The inventive tinkering is part of the hobby (at least for me). If we had all the money in the world, it would be easier to just buy all the trick parts we can get our hand at but also less interesting. It makes me chuckle when I see these 'Burt Munro type' of guys at classic meetings with 'scruffy' bikes being joked at sometimes... only to shut up the crowd when their machines outperform all the trickery shiny parts equivalents. If it looks fast it doesn't automatically goes fast, it requires work, dedication and experience.

yea thanks Mick ,originally i had it bolted in ,with tabs on either ends of tube , but didn't  handle, real well ,how'd you end up with those piston mods an engine build you were doin ?

Take a closer look at the top rails on Blue71turbo.  ::) Jon has no handling problems. ;)

Sam. ;)

That's true but only riding fast in a strait line.  As for riding hard in corners and up in the local mountains the bike does get a bit wiggly.  I don't ride the old turbo like that anymore.  My nuts have shrunk a bit from those years gone by.   I used my old 1984 VF1000 F and 1987 VFR700 for the curvy's .    ;)
