So the weather is here, and I have taken the bike for a couple of testruns. To summarize i installed new needle/tube, mainjet and slow jet:
Main: 100
Slow: 38
Needle set in grove 3
I run with sparkplugs a "number" colder than standard.
The bike started pretty easily (not a small thing for a hobby.mechanic).
1. test-run (10 miles). Well the bike doesn't die any more when its drives at slow speeds and gets a little throttle. If I fling the throttle very fast to full throttle it does hesitate a little (is this normal?).
When I got home i looked at the spark-plugs. They were
gray. From what I know this isn't a disaster, they were definitely not white.
2. test-run (80 miles). Bike ran very good, I've noticed that after my carb rebuild it now very good to go slow in high gears

When I got home i noticed a very slight brown tan on the spark plugs.
So all in all i'm very happy. It might run a little bit on the lean side (I guess that grove no. 4 or "3,5" would also be ok for the needle), but it's 100 times better than before.
By the way, I ran the test runs on shell v-power, if that s counts for anything.
