New guy with a 76 CB750F from NY

Hello Everyone!

My name is Liam and I own a 1976 CB750F and am from the capital district area (Albany) of NY.   I purchased it last spring after selling my 2004 CB600F.  It is in really good condition and everything worked perfectly on it.  I rode it all last spring and summer until I noticed that I had oil blow by from BOTH the head and base gaskets  :(.  Now I have decided to rebuild it and turn it into a cafe racer a little sooner that I was expecting too.

I have been lurking on here for a while researching and learning.  I'll soon be starting a build thread once I get some pictures taken.  I hope to share my build with everyone and learn from everyone here.

As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I actually plan on finding good homes for the parts I do not plan to use, as I know there are people out there doing stock rebuilds.  Is that what you're referring to?
