I'm about to head out to meet DaSchwartz (Ken) and crew. After crossing the Golden Gate, I'll be taking the 1 up the coast and then detouring inland for some mountain roads I've never ridden before around Mt. Tam. I swear, this has to be the BEST riding of the whole tour. After we meet we'll be taking some more sweet, sweet twisties over to wine country to meet up w/ Dave Voss.  BTW, my new charging system is in place and the bike has twice the horsepower, those coils had been going bad for a long time and I was attributing the power loss to bad valves, much better now. Sorry for getting oil all over your awesome jacket, Grumpy. ;) I'll do my best to keep the G-man from wrecking the Golden Gate  Bridge but y'all know how he gets. He actually threw on a base layer in anticipation of the coastal fog and he scored a sweet new necklace and belt buckle. I'll try to update the log tomorrow.
So much to do, so little time.

Looking forward to seeing you, I'll try to tidy up a bit before you arrive (unless GZ likes a chaotic garage...)

What does jet green look like?  The green in the back is Greenhornets bike (750) and the minty green toward the front is mine (550) and then of course the olive green front most bike is Paul's (I forget his forum name...something arrow)
Greenhornet may trade you for your jacket ;)

taking on the vehicle fleet management for the Burningman event is running me ragged. Ironically, I'll be an hour or so north of Fernley this weekend and 6/14-17.

Any chance of sneaking Greg and GZ into the Burning Man area on 6/8? ;)

Heck yeah! I'd love to see a photo of Godzilla on the playa, or even better with the mechanics and one of the fleet trucks!
The town of Gerlach is 1.5 hors north of Fernley, playa access is 8 more miles and the ranch/workshop is 20 miles from Gerlach. If anyone wants to make the trek, PM me for details.

God-superfly-zilla is now chillin' in Napa after a nice meeting at Downtown Joes (local restaurant-brewery on the river) with Matt, Ken, Daniel, and me late yesterday afternoon.  It's always great to meet fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, thanks for bringing GZ up to Napa.

How many wind-in-the-face miles has GZ logged so far?  Or are folks stowing GZ away in a bag while traveling?  I'm thinking the view up and over the Sierras is too nice to miss, and a few bugs in teeth might just give GZ something to snack on anyway.

I don't know how many miles Grumpzilla has logged but I think I am the only one that has ever tucked him in the panniers (I did the same with his brothers as well--didn't want to break tradition).  Everyone else seems to tether him to the handlebars.

I just bungeed him to the pack on the back of my bike...........he said he liked it there (something about bondage, etc.)

Sadly, as of this afternoon, I'm unable to participate in the GZ3 Rally.  On my commute from work, the head gasket failed on my CB550 and I barely made it home.  Sorry folks, I was *really* looking forward to Saturday's ride.  If this had occurred a week ago, I might have been able to get it fixed in time, but with only a day left, its just not an option for me.  Seriously bummed...

Sorry to hear about your bike, Dave.  On a positive note, you can pull the head on a 550 with the motor in the frame.
