Noob with CB750 in Cincinnati
« on: February 18, 2013, 09:15:40 AM »
This past weekend I purchased my first bike, a 1981 CB750. Here she is on the trailer and ready to start the journey home.

The seller said that he had some sort of issue reinstalling the carbs after an attempted rebuild ... something about an issue with the petcocks. So it needs a little bit of work but I got it for a song so I'm hoping to have her on the road in the very near future.

This is, for all intents and purposes, my first bike experience. I've ridden a motorbike a few times but certainly not extensively. I'm excited to get her on the road and excited to learn a lot here on the forum!

There is an open bike forum here but your bike being a later year model 750 with double overhead cams instead of a single overhead cam may be a little limited on resources here. Most of the machines here are 1978 or older  ;)
