New guy with '78 CB750
« on: February 18, 2013, 09:37:14 AM »
Hi all,

My name is Arthur and I am deaf.

I am in the process of acquiring a POS '78 CB750 that I want to turn into a cafe racer that looks like the one in my avatar and the picture I am attaching.

While doing a lot of research on what to do with some of the issues I am facing (stripping tank to brushed metal, removing chrome, etc). I kept being referred to this forum in some of the searches and have found the answers here to be very sensible so I decided to join.

This will be my first bike.

Thanks everyone.  Very excited to get to work on my bike soon. The bill of sales should be completed by the end of this week.
