Stripper Situation

A PO semi stripped the left rearview mount on the signal switcher.....I want to replace it or fix it but was wondering if that mounting piece was universal across the CB bikes for the 1970's....the piece looks the same. Posted a photo pointing to the exact piece I want to replace or fix.

Yeah, and after I shut off "Zombie Strippers" half way through the movie last night anticipating that there MIGHT be some actual content!

That piece just looks faded and weathered to me, not stripped considering it's anodized. Why not go to this site and cross reference the part?!

Some kind of purist?  Jb weld the mirror and get used to the "patina" on that housing.  Where are the strippers?

Sometimes you can find a mirror with longer threads and put a nut on the bottom. Salvage yard maybe.

If you use a perch from something like a dirtbike you have to delete the clutch safety switch circuit out, just ground the wire. It is redundant anyway
