I got the Canary home today along with extra Comstars and front rotor. He had some extra exhaust headers also. About the only thing he did not have was the rear grab rail and center stand.

The extra head pipes are in the top box in picture.

Pods, cables and more in the lower box.

Since I was in the area I stopped by to visit my good friend Tom. He does outstanding work and had these in the garage.

And from another post this little gem he just finished. Yeah.I did this.. :o

Then he asked if I needed a few boxes of stuff. Well duh! Gave a little cash for the parts and will be posting when I get them sorted.

The pipes fit the CB 750 series.

Another box is full of CB/CL 350 parts. Buried deep is a new set of .30 over pistons. A case cover, front fender in good shape and more. No pics at this time but a box full.  :P

It was a great day because I also sold my stock Scion tC wheels while in town.  8)

Life is good!  ;)

Yes, I know you have one. Thanks.

At this time I might already have a buyer. If so I'm not putting anymore into it. At least not now. Have no intentions of putting a wrench to it.

I did save another old Honda with a title.  ;)

Bike is pretty complete. Airbox and other parts in the box. Probably sell complete. Less hassel with shipping costs and PayPal fees.

Great deal.  Build that sucka!

No intentions to do anything with it. Working on another deal possibly down the road. Want to save the funding money just in case I get the call.

Bike has a new battery in it. All lights work and turns over just fine. Even the horn works so probaby could get it running fairly easy. It's third out on the list. Still waiting on the CT-90 part.  >:( then sync the carburetors on the 750 K7.

You mentioned that was a rattle can job? I know its hard to tell by the pics, but that is a nice looking paint job I'd think.

The tank and side covers are nice. The rest is with a rattle can.

Hell I would have thought it would have gone the other way, $250 if you take that god awful seat and $300 if you don't :D

Everything is upside down in Australia huh?

 ;D

tt
No, more to the point you would have to pay me to take that seat ;)

And that is why he is keeping it. Worth $50 to me!

tt

Wish I could have done that deal on two bikes I have now. Would have cut the price in half on one of them. As it is  I have two sissy bars and a few funky seats.  My friend said as far as the tear in the upholstry to make sure not to hit it there when you throw it in the dumpster.

But then there's always this:

I'd have kept the seat.  I found out a long time ago no matter how ridiculous something is, somebody will give 25 bucks for it.

Lemme know when you find out who that is and I'll put a couple in the mail ASAP. How 'bout your guy Tuff? He need a couple more sissy bars?

It ain't pretty but it's sold.

You didn't ask enough!

The bike was priced right for what it was. It was a lot worse in person then the camera would show. It has heavy surface rust on everything from sitting in the Pacific Northwest.

My decision was based on the amount of money it would have taken to make it somewhat more presentable. I would much rather fund something else. I even had Jeremy from Vintage Honda out of LA calling on it. Feeding frenzy on these 550's.

There is a method to my madness. Don't want to put the cart ahead of the horse at this time. I need to get the CT-90 finished and sold. Hoarding cash. Steve-o, check your email.  ;)

If you got calls all the way from LA, you could have gotten quite a bit more on it. Part of me thinks it's good to price them at what they are rather than what you can get for them, but part of me suspects that whoever bought it is likely just flipping it as well. Oh well, keep us posted with where you go next!
