I already had a compression tester (that I had bought at Canadian Tire a few years ago).  All I needed was the 12mm adapter.  That's why I was reluctant to go to Canadian Tire because I'd have to buy a whole new tester to get the adapter.

For other Canadians (and presumably Americans too) NAPA sells 12mm compresision tester adapters for about $13.

Do the 12mm adaptors thread onto a 14mm?  I might need one for the leak-down tester I'm planning on buying.
