Front Paddock Stand
« on: February 25, 2013, 01:30:07 PM »
Just wanted to know if anyone was successfully using a front paddock stand, whether stock or modified? If modified, please post up a pic of what you did to accomplish this feat. All the front stands that I've seen would wedge under the front axle clamps, not allowing removal of the front wheel.

Thanks!

I have a 76 CB550 and just grabbed my pitbull race stands out of storage to see if they'll work....unfortunately it won't be until tomorrow but I will post pictures and let you know.

I use one that has a pin the goes into the steering stem and lifts the front up.  You need to use a rear stand so the bike is stable.  Some bikes can use the centerstand with the front stand.  Watch that the rear wheel doesnot touch the ground when you use the front stand.  She could fall over.
