« on: February 25, 2013, 05:30:47 AM »
Putting head back on my 77K. took everything off in order and labeled it. the cam holder I had in a bag with these 2 small
O rings(laying on head to the right in pic.) and I forgot were they actual go under cam holder. Any Help

If you look at the cam holder the oil feed hole is duplicated at each end so that they are not handed, on the head is a recess to fit an O ring in to seal the outlet hole from leaking---Hope that makes sense mate

Yes, if you look at the pic I have the 2 new O rings(one each tower) allready in the recess. These 2 were in the bag with the tower.
The bag with tower 3-4 has the same 2 O rings in them. Could the go at the 2 center holes.

2 ORings per tower. As per Bryan: recesses in head are obvious. The inboard ones contain the oil orifices. The outboard ones are blanks.

You do not have an ORing in the outboard blanks. Even though they are blanks they are still necessary.
