Permission to use pics wanted... Fundraising
« on: July 02, 2006, 03:55:13 PM »
Guys,
Hopefully i will get a good response

I want to use some of the photos from the forum to make some bookmarks.

They come up quite good and we have a bike show coming up in 2 weeks. I want to sell the bookmarks on our club stand so our club can raise money for Cancer Research - which is where the money raised from the show will go

The show is the Story Bridge bike show in Brisbane
Run by the Laverda Club of Brisbane

Our club
Honda SOHC/4 club will be there as usual and i thought it would be good to raise a few $$ to go to a good cause

If anyone will give me permission to use their gallery photos i would be grateful

Or

if you want to email me some hi-res pics that would be even better

I also want to do a poster size collage of SOHC Honda pics which will go on sale at the next show
so the high-res pics would be awesome

Anything we can do to raise some cash and raise the profile of the good old SOHC Hondas would be great

If you want to email me pics - pm me and i will give you an alternatave email address which is checked daily
(my hotmail address isn't checked daily)

I'm looking forward to an overwhelming response

Thanks Guys

Sorry Guys,

I'll add some info

Any angle is ok
I'll leave it up to you guys
If you like the pic - send it to me
I'm sure everyone will have a different idea

Any size file is ok
Jpeg is preferred but i can handle almost anything

Any SOHC bike is ok
They're all great
Anyone with something different?

Stock, Custom, Cafe'd, Chopped
Concours or rough
We love 'em all don't we?

750, 500, 350 twins etc...

It's all about the bike
As little as possible in the background is great

Already getting some good responses

Thanks Guys.

The weekend went pretty well.
I made 50 bookmarks using some pics from the forum and our club here and we sold all of them.
100 bucks to charity - not much i know, but it worked pretty well.

I probably could have sold more, but didn't want to make too many.

I will collect some more pics and do it again next year.

I'd like to see some myself. Can always use a couple of bookmarks for the shop manual and parts list.  ;)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.
