Reg/Rec combo custom mounting?? 77' 750k

I have the reg/rec combo unit coming this weekend from Oregon Motorcycles for my stock 77' 750k. I know you have to custom mount it. Has anyone done this or have any advice on the best way? Thanks!

Pretty easy to do. Go to your home store and get a piece of flat aluminum bar. Cut it in length to bridge the 2 original regulator holes. Drill those holes. Fit your new unit onto the bar and drill those holes. Get you 2 more fasteners, lock washers and nuts or nylock nuts. Spray it black and mount it all up. I used one of the original regulator holes just needed a longer bolt which I had.
