I had some patches made for our Rockers vs Mods rally, back in the fall.  I used these guys, and the patches came out great.  The cost was reasonable.  It would be a good place to consider if someone wanted to take the reins and coordinate it.  It takes some time for production, so the sooner they get ordered, the better.  Maybe we should have a pre-pay system, so no one has to fork over the initial change for the order.

http://www.bikerpin.com/

For reference this is a the quote from our rally.  It was for patches and pins.  Different quantities price out differently, but this should give an idea of this place's price.

Rockers vs Mods 2012 Pins (Similar to BWC-2040):
100 pieces - 1.25 inch wide, die struck iron, soft enamel lapel pins with 1 military clutch attachment are $2.25 each
Rockers vs Mods 2012 Patches (Similar to QUAR-7369):
100 pieces - 3-inch wide, 75% embroidered patches with gray marrow border and no backing, (sew on) are $2.10 each, with gray marrow border
Plus $16.00 FedEx Ground Shipping

Here is our submission for this year's Rally graphics.  This translates easily into a patch and a shirt (and stickers, for that matter).  It doesn't have to be on black - could be on any solid color, really.  It was created as a vector graphic and is ready for production.

I love it too. Guessing Robyn did this, Chris?
Looking forward to seeing y'all next month.

Thanks, Steve!  You guessed it - it is Robynn's handiwork.  I think it turned out good and would love to rock it on a shirt or patch.  We're looking forward to catching up with everyone and terrorizing the Hill Country with everyone.  My engine may still be in pieces, as I've been working on other projects, so I may be on the Duc again this year.  But, you never know.  Any updates on timeframe?

My suggestion would be to include www.sohc4.net ... discussion previous years pretty much dictates that.  I think that is the most important piece of info.

I agree with Heff.

There's been a couple other design inquiries too. I posted in 'bikes' section for additional views due to higher traffic and tried to direct to this thread. Let's give it a little more time then put a deadline on it. How's that sound?

Wondering if the deadline has been set for the design of T's and patches?  Selfishly hoping to get this years patches next to my other two patches for when Gz-3 arrives in CA.... :-*

Where do you wear them, Mooshie?  My 2012 is still riding in the jacket pocket, I just can't make my mind on where to stitch it.

I sew them to my pack where I keep all my clothes when I travel on the bike.  That way they go with me everywhere.  It was hell trying to figure out how to get them on my jacket.  FattMatt sewed his to the arm of his jacket somehow.  Here is the first years one and GZ-1, 2012 is right next to it (but this picture is from 2011 so it is not there) and 2013 will be in the cluster as well once we choose a design!

I found one other member, Davis96, that had expressed interest in submitting a design. I have emailed him and said we're wanting to wrap this up in case he is still interested. Let's see what happens.

DJ_AX has posted in this thread that he had some ideas also. I PM'ed DJ too.

I prefer the patch and like Mooshies idea of putting them on a back pack.  I haven't put mine on anything yet, but was planning to get a vest and put the HOG, Kawi, and Honda patches on one vest and piss a bunch of people off.. LOL

After having reached out to the other 2 'contestants' I am hoping at the least for a design or a 'no, I am not submitting'. Let's give this one more week then call it done. How's that sound?

I also sent masterChief750 a PM asking about who he used, etc for his patches but I have not received a reply to either request.

In the meantime, I'll get the ".net" incorporated to the SOHC/4 and post the updated image.  It's actually already done, I just need to get the artwork from our artist.

Can I make one more point?
I don't mean to be negative, I know how hard critiques are to not take personally when the artwork is your own.

Is the "Relay Rally" too redundant?

I like the design... I'd like to see an option for black/red, but I'll take 2 of whatever is decided by the group!  :)
