I've done a lot of things in my life that I'm not proud of...and the things I AM proud of, "are disgusting"

The healing process is progressing. Slowly but surely. Well slower than I'd like but it'll only be 3 weeks tomorrow. Are you over your's yet?

Can't say we have a firm plan yet. We should be moving this weekend perhaps. The western stretch sounds like it's in the works including NV, ID, MT, WY, UT but Colorado definitely needs work still to find riders. My thoughts are to have Proto and GJ Steve move GZ eastward through western CO but a Denver contingent needs to be formed. K5 Keith is here in Colorado Springs and away from the fire. CB650 is anxiously awaiting and Paul may want to ride too. No definites there except CB650 however there are a handful of Denver guys if we can recruit them. I had thought about then hooking up with Nebraska guys and moving towards Pinhead, then yourself and Eydugstr. No word from Team 5 with ideas about relaying.

Eydugstr says not to forget Newboots or Sixgunrattlesnake. Newboots is in Lawrence and Sixgun is in 'Kansas'. Can you guys touch base and connect with these two?

Are the Nebraska guys listening in? If so we need to start working on ideas. Perhaps you guys could meet up with CB650 from CO somewhere in western Nebraska then meet up with Pinhead in KS. Do you have any ideas?

Here's a recap of where we are right now, just so folks dont have to dig. Gz is either with motorfist right now or soon to be, and is getting ready to head through the Jackson Hole yellowstone park area this week. Next weekend June 21, I am picking him up from Motorfist in Lava Hot Springs, ID, and will drop him off with Curemode in Logan, UT the following weekend, June 29.

Just catching up with this thread.  I'm in Omaha NE and can assist picking it up from the KS crew.  For me to assist though, the last weekend in July I AM available, is July 19, 20, 21.  Then can be available to relay GZ to Rockerbox in WI on weekend of Aug 2-4.

10th Anniversary of Rockerbox  (i think).

Should be a good show!
Come on!  We're burning daylight!

Grasscutter, I'm located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa... I would not think you would have to go all the way to Wisconsin if you didnt want to.  But, I will be unavailable after the 27th of July thru the middle of August... I have a week's worth of National Guard Annual Training to do, and then I'm off to Sturgis on the Harley with my wife.

So.... I am hoping GZ gets HERE somewhere where I can at least ride along for awhile before it goes on to.... wherever way he's going next.  If it goes too late, this will be the third event I've had to miss....  I hope to break the bad luck streak.  My 350F is raring to go.  Just got the carbs sync'd up and it is running really nice.  Shame to get left out again.

So, trying to follow the plan here, but not quite sure what's a happening.. but thanks for that update.

I just got the okay from my family to make a run from Denver to Kansas for an overnight hand off of GZ!  It all hinges on me dialing in a VERY lean running condition, but I should be okay with the help of the forum's greater minds.

Ofreen, glad to know GZ III is in your very capable hands!

I'll keep checking in on dates for the handoff from Longrange Proto and/or GJ Steve.

We are meeting Ofreen Greg in Carey, ID tomorrow at 11am for the hand off. Then GZ will chill with me in eastern Idaho until Wednesday when we head to MT and WY.

I just got the mrs. 77 400f back on the road today after the complete tear down and rebuild. She's happy and it's running great. 50 miles shake down today with no issues. Tool kit is packed and bringing a buddy on an HD bagger for support and fun.

I grew up around Harley's and I never thought I'd see the day where I would bring one as a reliable follow bike! Lol.

Put the Harley on point. They take a good hit  ;) I verified it with the follow up.

Good job boys! Enjoy the upcoming ride through MT etc.

Yeah, no sense in crying  :) I bought the 2003 after the 2001 took a head-on and I survived. This was the followup test.

Team 4 KS riders,

I've been in communication with our Team 5 MO riders - KC to St Louis. It seems that NShahdadi can hook up with the eastern KS riders then relay to MadScientist in Columbia. MO to take GZ to St Louis.

Whoever can ride eastern KS please step up and begin the communications with NShahdadi. I have asked these guys from Team 5 to come on board here to work out a plan.

As usual, and of course, we have no REAL dates but that'll happen soon.
