Map? Do we have a map??

US24 sounds logical but it's whatever you guys want to do or whatever works out for all. We have an Omaha guy so a northern route may be preferential for him. Perhaps even cross over on US36 to MO north of KC at St Joseph?? Eydugstr can't ride this year and he was our KC guy. What sounds good to you?

I like the informal nature of this relay, but a map showing where pimp-o-saurus has been (the route taken) would be cool. Of course I don't have the time to keep up such a map. ;)

Proto and GJ Steve, you guys are next up. Ready to ride?

PLAN OF ATTACK SO FAR: (updates in bold)

I'm catching up today. Sorry for being behind. I have contacted anyone I could find via PM this includes NE and MO guys for the handoff to Team 5. I know I have not found all the Denver guys so you are on notice.

I will update this as I know more so please keep me informed

6/11  FatMatt drops off GZ at Motorcycle Mania in Fernley, NV

6/15   Ofreen Greg HAS GZ and perhaps gets GZ to Motorfist somewhere and sometime

6/19-21 Motorfist rides Yellowstone, Tetons, Jackson Hole (sure wish I had a bike!) to Lava Hot Springs to EnvitaVeritas/Boyd. AND Envino is riding as we speak.  ;D

6/29   Curemode meets up with EnvinoVeritas then Curemode relays to Proto on the road who then heads home to Craig, CO 6/30.

7/??   Longrange Proto and GJ Steve?? maybe head towards Denver very possibly to OldBob in Nederland. K5 Keith is in the mix somewhere!

7/??   Front Range/Denver crew takes over and moves GZ into KS. As always CB650 and Paul are on the move. Who else?? Theofam is in.  K5 Keith too. KS crew heads eastward to Team 5- who's this gonna be and how are you going to do it?

7/?? + a couple - NShahdadi of Team 5 proudly accepts GZ from ? of Team 4 perhaps near KC who then relays to MadScientist for an assault on St Louie

Hey guys!

Depending on work/dates you're in KS/MO I might be able to meet up. I sorta split my time between Manhattan, KS and St. Louis, MO.  I'll be sure keep an eye on how the dates are shaping up.

Take care,

Paul

There is a map, but just shows the location of the riders that have signed up.
Just noticed it hasn't been updated since 5/16....

Hey Paul, thanks for signing up and posting both locations!! From KS, the relay will head into MO; that is where Team 4 ends and Team 5 starts.

Ok guys, my tentative plan is to meet Curemode on 6/29 as he is travelling south back into Utah.  I am p.m.ing back and forth with him and will firm up meet location when he gives me his route of travel.  That will put me back in Craig on 6/30 sometime.  I can meet the front range riders anytime after that.  I like the idea of the Nederaland meet.  Just let me know when.

Woohoooo, I can see it now. GZ in Nederland with the Thawed Dead Guy. One blast from GZ's snout and no more Frozen Dead Guy!!

OldBob says he's out of town til the end of the month. I emailed him to ask that he get in touch with you Proto.

Anyone heard from GJ Steve?

OK Denver/front range crew, it's time to put on yer riding boots and fire em up. WHO'S IN??

If Coke wants to ride he can overnight at my place then perhaps K5 Keith and Coke can head north with me trailing in the Vette to meet the Denver guys??

Then there's Pinhead who does serious miles too and mentioned Nederland. Also welcome at my place. Anyone else for that matter.

Now with all the excitement we are talking 4th of July timeframe too so we'll need to deal with that. What's everyone's availability? I have 7/6-7 and 7/9-10 then 7/14-24. But hey, I'm not riding so I'm less relavent  :) but I should be off the crutches on 7/2 hopefully.

What I want to know is how is his lovely outfit (thanks to Matt's girlfriend) holding up?  Is he being treated nicely as he moves further east? ;)
Pictures please!

By way of update, GZ is in Idaho with me now, had a great handoff this morning! He and I will hang out until I take him to Curemode next Saturday. I plan to show him around, maybe take him on a Napoleon Dynamite tour, since it was filmed here in Preston. Hes looking pimp-a-rific and is scaring the locals, but hes helping me drink some beer and clean carburetors so all is well.

I just got home and will start working on my lean condition. Looks like sometime early July (the 4th might mess things up a bit) for a run out to Kansas for a handoff.

I can assist from Fri-Mon., July 19, 20, 21,22.

Seems the tentative plans are shaping up to be:
Denver crew to KS crew, to MO crew.  (haven't seen a route, hwy, or cities listed for this...)
If it is simpler for all, and since it looks like I'm the only rider in NE, (and no riders in IA),
maybe skip NE completely?

If I can ride along with the KS crew that's cool by me.

Anyone connecting up @ any Motorcycle fests?  Or you all just been doing straight hand-offs?
Any shows or swap meets in the KS, or MO area in next 2-3 weeks?
