I'll ride what I can.   What are the dates?   I changed shifts so working beginning of the week now.    Also moved to hudson.  Have weedy yard space for any tents and a garage if anyone needs to stay.   Nice not to deal with traffic out here also.

Terry,

How about getting in touch with Curemode and see if you can provide any assistance he may need. You ARE the 650 guy here  :)

Dates?! hah! GZ is in/near Birmingham, AL currently. That's as close as we can get for now. Hoping it's not during a little ride I plan on doing  5/12 - 5/27'ish.

Where are you and how much riding can you do?

I've gone on some 2 or 3 hour trips before, unfortunately my CB550 is very very small for my 6'4'' frame and I get fatigued very easily from my riding position (Could use some tips on how to fix that.)

I've been trying to contact Wes the past couple weeks but he took on a new big-boy job and has been busy. I aim to talk to him about this as soon as we make contact.

Apologies for long awaited replies, I don't scope the board too often these days. My roommate got a project KZ400 so we've been busy.

I'm in.  #27 on the list.
Self-employed, so fairly flexible scheduling as long as its not last minute.
Best times for me are 4 day weekends.  Friday through Mondays.

Am already planning a trip to Mid-America show and Rockerbox show this year.

Have plenty of bikes to ride @ a moments notice.  Lots of miles is no biggie either.
Been coast to coast plenty of times.

Keep in touch.
Come on!  We're burning daylight!

Hey Ofreen and crew. I'm in south eastern Idaho so I can hit Wyoming and or Montana pretty easily from my location if that helps. I'm willing to take some vacation to help this year. I would love to be involved if my location works but I don't want to reroute anything that screws up everybody else.
What do you think?
Thanks!

That's as close as we can get for now. Now we have MotorFist, Grasscutter, DeafandDiabetic. Let's see how we can work these guys in! Greg could always meet MotorFist then head home.

Greg, thinking we may have a Utah rider or 2 aka curemode2002 for one and theres our west CO contingent. (Sorry I've been away for a week, well not really - fun in Key West  ;D) Maybe hit NV, UT, WY, w. CO into the Colorado Springs/Denver area then get Terry to head to the Nebraska guys? Montana somehow but can't really see it at this point? Nebraska to KS riders.

Who else is on board? I'll be home and available for GZ v3.0 on 6/2. Heading out for a little ride to Blue Ridge Parkway for about 17 days prior to this. Hey, I got new tires  ;)

I'll dig a little more when I'm home in next couple days.

Is anybody coming out of New Mexico?

I've got an itching to ride to Taos (the road through the mountains looks amazing) and see the Earthships.

Doug,

I'm thinking that New Mexico will be covered when the guys meet up at 4 Corners. Not sure how they are planning. Scottly, Proto, JCarthel. I don't think we have anyone in Team 4 that is close or planning on it (Proto is northwestern CO) but we can always accomodate  ;D More than likely we'll probably do NV, UT, WY, western CO, Denver into NE then down to KS. But at this point it's all open for input.

If you did ride to Taos I'd do it one of the ways via southern CO.  ;D Stopovers in CoSprings are always welcome.

JCarthel will be coming from the Lubbock,TX area. I don't know where he and Proto are going to meet up, or what route they will take to 4-corners. The tentative date for that ride is 5-18.
Edit: looks like the tentative meeting point is Clayton, NM, and the route is Hwy 64, so it looks like they will be going through Taos. :D

Pinhead,  I will tentatively be pulling out of Clayton, NM on the morning of May 11 or 12, depending on which date is best for the handoff from jcarthel.  I will be travelling west at least as far as Taos, before heading back north to my home in Colorado for a few days.  I will then cruise back south and resume my trip to Four corners for the meet with the AZ riders on the 18th.

Dang it, that's too bad; it looks like I'm going skydiving on the 12th.

Just got an email from Gerald, I'll be picking up the Nebraska leg of the trip.

He said to log in under the rider's map thread? And any concrete plans on who I should be making contact with from Colorado?

It's a little up in the air right now how GZ will get from CA to Nevada. When I find that out we can make a plan. I can go to Eastern Idaho or Utah, either one.

That be me  :) That's my 'formal' name.  ;) I'm thinking (without talking with him) Terry aka CB650 perhaps. He's northeast of Denver up I-76. All preliminary, nothing definite at this point. Thinking Nebraska could hookup with Pinhead who is in central KS??

What do CB650 think and Pinhead think?

Goldarrow is maintaining the rider map. Helps with connecting those dots. Let him know so he can add you guys that don't yet appear on the map.
