Yes, Yamiya is quite a site, some stuff is worth more than the entire US space program and other stuff is dirt cheap, I think their pricing officer likes acid..... 8)
Too true. Sometimes it's a steal and sometimes it's painful.

Regarding the spigot..................be sure to have the correct 6-point socket size.............get someone help you hold the head...........maybe bolt it to your table..........have a pipe available to extend the ratchet handle............or use an air-ratchet............again, be very careful to stay square to protect the threads.  The spigot itself is surprisingly light-weight. Suggest BLUE lock-tite or similar sealant.

O.K.  I am officially addicted.  You guys are like pushers: "Here you go kid.  First 23 pages are free".

I am currently looking at grabbing a '73 on CL.  I probably shouldn't but I probably will.

Great build report.  Thanks.   :)

My chrome's back.  They did a great job overall.  I'm especially happy with the work done on the fenders, axle adjusters, and exhaust clamps.

The front fender was torn and crimped at the front cut, and they did an amazing job of fixing it.

Looks pretty great greggo, I'm waiting on a bunch of pieces, but I think mine came out almost as good as yours (for the price, I really have no room to complain)

Also, PM me if you're still looking for that KQ seat.

The cylinder sleeves?  An oven.

Yes the cylinder sleeves. How do you get them out after the oven?

They will slide out when hot enough.  The aluminum expands more than the steel sleeves.  We used a wood block to push it out.

Looks fantastic Greggo, without going back 23 pages, did you find a sandcast engine for it? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
