Yup..I'm going to go with the best set of repops, or a good set of originals. I need an air box first...that's the next $100+ expenditure

Great stuff in the mail today! Got my recessed ignition from Hoodellyhoo, a really high quality parts list reprint for $20 from ebay, and some beautiful gold headlight ears. Also pulled the HM300's from the K6 that's going up for sale and squirreled them away until this bike is ready.

The stands without the diaganol brace went up to 1120. After that they have the brace as seen in your pic. Beyond that you'll have to wait for other experts to chime in.

Mine looks the same as 5383's, so I'm hoping this one's correct. I got it in the 'motherlode' I picked up about a year ago, well before buying this bike. And, since I broke even on that stash, that means this was Free

I will probably paint it all Stev-o, simply because we know a paint guy, and not a PC guy. He'll be doing the tank work as well.

Regarding the center-stand.........I don't know when by the number, but if I remember correctly, the height of the stand changed. When I lifted my very early sandcast onto the stand in 1969........it was relatively low effort and barely lifted the tire off the pavement. Also, I have noticed this in the past few years.............the actual width of the attachment ears or the lugs on the frame are slightly different after K1..............you may want to fit yours before painting.
