1981 cb650c plug wire cap?

 This my seem like a stupid question and I almost hesitate to ask it. Do the caps(the piece that goes onto the spark plug) seperate from the spark plug wire, or are one piece? Thanks.

Bruce -thanks - a question I can answer (partly).  Yes, they seperate, the cap has has a screw in it. lefty loosey, righty tighty, at least on mine ;D

Yes and you can remove trim 1/4 inch or so to get rid of the corrosion and use a little silicone on reassembly and like new.
