Yeah, after laying in bed in 77F bedroom for a while, I got up and turned AC on to cool apt to 74 so I could get to sleep.

Other than leaky windows apt is well insulated but electric bill was still $100 last month and $115 month prior...

It's all relative. I do a budget on my electric. Works well.

Easy trade for me. Winter cold and snow (from Indiana) or AC for three months then nine months of great weather.

Rest of the parts arrived today. New OEM coils, caps, fuel petcock and a seal for the trans cover.

I'll be in the shop early. Again.  :P

Used coil with caps available.

It was a heck of a day! Started at 0300 hrs. for me. Good Lord I need to sleep in a little. Dealing with three (3) possible bike purchases, polishing alt. cover, running to the license bureau, inventorying new parts, this forum I still haven't stopped.

Couple of margaritas would stop the spin.  ;) :o ::) :P ;D

Not yet!

The wires were real bad and the caps were to the point of not fitting very well. I realize I could of gone with a different setup but I'm an OEM kind of guy.

I get fantastic prices way below internet from my supplier. I should with the money I have spent on 7 bikes and now another on the way. The CBX bordered on insane.

Another five hours in the shop. Couple of coffee breaks thrown in.  ;)

Covers installed with new OEM hardware. Much better than it was. Prefer factory look but this will do. Replaced coils and caps with OEM parts along with a new petcock.

Other than the front upper brake line Bill is sending she is done. Won't take but 30 minutes to swap line and bleed.

1977/78 models are "cool too"!  :)

Doesn't seem like it huh?

Still have an intermittent popping out of number three cylinder. I backed the pilot out to about 1 3/4 to 2 turns. Seems to have stopped. Might of been lean. Other three sound good.

I'm going to test ride it today. Maybe it just needs a spin around town.

Looks good Toy.  Yeah you need to blow the cobwebs out but careful if no front brake.

Ride Safely all the time...
I think he had longer front lines...surely he wouldn't be silly enough to go for a ride with 25-30% of his brakes working.

Thanks Steve! Ya, front brake is working. I bleed it out when changing bars. Just have to do it again is all.

Well let me say this. This 750 is running so fine now. I did not realize just how far off things were. Completely different motorcycle. Other then the choke at cold start just turn the key and fire it up. Idles srteady at 1200 RPM, smooth off the clutch and runs 110% better than it ever did.

I learn everytime I pick up a wrench or read a post on this forum. I actually think I'm getting better at it!  ;D

She looks pretty outside.
