Check out the nice CR750 Daytona rep at 17/19 seconds into the video.
One would have thought, after spending a small fortune building the bike, they would have put on a front fender that fitted the none standard front wheel.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm a little disappointed I didn't think to try and scam a few beers offa scunny and your good self this year
Never mind there's always next year I suppose.

Might even be able to sucker in a couple of our north American cousins as well. ;D ;D
There was a rumor floating around that they will definitely be back next year and Mr's Swantz and Mamola may be in the line up.

Cheers,
Brian

I'm not sure who the rider is Larry but the bike is a McIntyre G50 Matchless (probably replica).

Bob McIntyre was the first rider to lap the I.O.M. TT coarse over 100mph in 1957 riding a 4 cylinder Gilera.
In later years he twice came close to repeating the speed on a 250 Honda with 99+mph laps.

Dave Roper could certainly ride that Matchless. He came around me at Loudon like I was going backwards (I was on a 600 Hurricane). Thing was so loud it scared the $hit out of me....I could feel the exhaust. ;D ;D

Thinking about it acutely. A couple of us are toying with the idea for 2014.
I would have to build another motor though.
Apparently you poms aren't to keen on big bore SOHC motors.

Brian

I had a yak to Dave Cole a couple of years ago at Phillip Island.
He was riding one of McIntyre's bikes, I think he said they ran it to about 7500rpm.

Brian

The old motor made maximum power at 7,200rpm, modern short stroke motors are red lined at 8,600 but it don't necessarily mean they make max power at these revs, still a thumper to me. ::)

Don't feel bad Mike. Dave has a tendency to make a lot of us feel exactly the same way.....no matter what he's riding!  ;D
