The F2 engine I am working on - I know nothing about it except it had good numbers on all four cylinders in the compression test.
I pulled the head due to the F2 reputation and it needs valve job alright.
Now I am wondering where should I stop - should I take jugs off and disassemble the transmission? The cam chain is in good shape, the guide too, I would think it has less than 30 000 miles on it, more like 20 000.
The transmission shifts fine and spins freely, there was nothing in the pan - like metal shavings.
What is your thought on it? I can play with it for a year or two but money is short as always.
