Arg! Help with 836cc kit ???
« on: March 07, 2013, 01:17:20 AM »
Now i Was called by my engine builder and i asked me about the sleeves. It seems to by very thin in the part there is going down in the engineblock. He said if he bores out The sleeves to 65mm there Would be 1,3mm in each side.

Is this normally when you bore you stock to 836cc ?? And is it enough ??

Hope you get it and would help.

Thanks Tommy

10s of thousands.

The 836 size is most popular, but the sleeves will handle 850cc as well. Above that you have to bore the aluminum block and resleeve .

+1

I put a flat spot in the lower part of the sleeve setting them down. That was a pricy misjudgment.
