Ick. Every time I see a bike with the word "Cafe" painted on it, it makes me want to puke. On the bike!

I guess to the extent that "Hipster" means "Poseur," an overdone, overcooked Carpy bike with Cafe painted on the tank might be suitable. Same for the tricked out mopeds and vintage vespas.  Otherwise this article is a load of horse#$%*.

The Triumph should be removed from this list.  Nothing about Steve McQueen was Hipster.  Besides I almost bought a Triumph a few weeks ago.  Thank God I bought the Norton instead.  My son would never let me live it down.

OK I have to grab my Mac Book Air and head to the coffee shop and surf the net for things that are not popular, just like all my friends are doing.

Damn, I have been itching to get the wolf tee or a unicorn tee for a while now.
That 'zine pic brings down the want factor slightly now.

Yea, can't wait to see my kids faces when I tell them I am a hipster. They will fall down laughing & hand me a pocket protector. ( remember them all you 60s nerds?)

That's right.  Some of us have had these bikes since before most hipsters where born.......We are just cool old dudes with cool old bikes....as for the rest of you hipsters....... ;)

Another hipster giveaway....any thread starting with anything similar to this "I am new to bikes and I picked up this CB___ to make into a Cafe racer" ;D
