I've been searching around all the threads for removing the starter motor and solenoid from the bike to move over to kick start. I understand that electrical wise I no longer need the wires running to the starter motor (since it's gone) or the wire going to the switch on the bars (button does nothing now).
I'm referencing this 750 simplified diagram (attached). Also, I'm keeping my ignition switch.
My questions are:
1. Do I just run the battery straight to the 'Bat' in on the ignition switch and add a 30v fuse in-between?
2. Where would I then run the wire from the rectifier? Same place? I have a newer model combo regulator/rectifier.
Thanks for any advice in advance.
