If motorcycles were in the majority......................
« on: July 21, 2006, 06:41:57 AM »
Sometimes we all wish that automobiles would be in the minority and motorcycles would rule the roads.
This is a typical street corner in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam. :o :o :o :o :o ;D

Now if only that were here in the US! Looks good to me! I certainly would not mind weeding out a few cages.

What the heck was that "pump bike/lounge chair" thingy about 3/4 the way thru the clip.  I'd love to get one!

See, that's the deal.  It's all about cooperation, and a lack of 'me first' mentality, unlike here in the U.S.  Talk about going with the flow!

...and they are all going slow enough that there is time to stop if things go pear shaped.

I got to go to the Dominican Republic 2-3 years ago and it looked very similar. This clip looked like it had someone or something directing traffic though. Not so down there. The cops never even leave the station. If there's a problem you go to them. People just ride wherever there's a hole. I remember seeing a girl riding pillion while holding a sheet cake! Madness I tell you!
