Cable stem

I tries to restore the electrical system. The green ground cable from the rectifier to the nearest ground attachment point was melted.
When I check the regulator and when the voltage is high, 14,5 v the resistant circuit (A.B) on the picture gets very warm. Is that normal?
Finally, the previous owner did many improvements to the electrical system and I will restore it but I am not sure how the cable stem was arranged.
I have read owners manual and the shop manual but they give not so many details. Can you please give me some photos of how the cable stem shall look. I am especially interested in the area around the ignition coil and the battery area.

The warm resistor burns excess energy - turns it into heat, no problem there.

Now the connectors:

- if you dont have schema, you can find it here:  http://oldmanhonda.com/MC/WiringDiagrams/MCwiring.php

- but I always connect the wires  by the color marks on the cover - see the picture. It is from the left Black, White and Green.

Thank you.
I have figured out how the cables are supposed to join and the right control activates the expected item.
What I want to know is how the cable stem is supposed to be attached to the frame. If the cable to the solenoid is supposed to go over or under the cable stem, how the wire harness is supposed to be arranged under the tank. Look at attached picture, please

What is the cable stem?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

English is not my native language.
I mean that its the same as "wire harness" many electric cables for different purposes patched together.

That is just a schema how the cable stem :)  is routed on the frame under the tank.
