1978 CB550K/ 1978 CB750K frame swap?
« on: March 15, 2013, 02:46:08 PM »
Working on a 1978 CB550K project and hit a roadblock when the bike could not be titled because of missing manufacturer federal safety sticker. Have a line on a 1978 CB750K frame that has the federal sticker and wondering if it is possible to transfer all parts from 550 to 750 frame without tons of fabrication or headache or is it silly to think I could do this.  Thank you for any help or advice you could lend.

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.

got any friends in other states? they can title it easy in some states.
So many bikes. I love them all. My BSA Rocket 3 is my all time favorite. But the differences in all of them is what they are, and why I like them. I ride a hot rod 82 Goldwing, and it will amaze you, but in the end I love them all.

you could anyways swap the VIN badge and re-stamp the numbers. should be fine as long as you don't get caught . haha
