This thread: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=50400.0 and others here as well.  I always enjoyed reading about that ride across the states he did with a few others.  Can't remember exactly where they were riding to but one CB 750 frame ended up in a dumpster somewhere out west IIRC!  You have to read it if you haven't yet.  It's picture heavy too...

I was the guy who organised the 2004 SOHC Easy Rider Trip that recreated the trip in the move Easy Rider. We had 10 riders from Scotland, England, Germany (Axl), Virginia, LA, Boston riding SOHC bikes starting from LAX (as in the movie) and ending in New Orleans. On the way we saw the jail in Las Vegas New Mexico, the remains of the diner in Louisiana, the hot springs in Taos, New Mexico, etc etc...epic ride.
