Aspiring Mechanic
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:55:56 AM »
Hiya all. I've been lurking here on and off for a few years.

I love bikes. I love riding bikes. I love owning bikes. I've recently discovered I love getting old bikes back up and running and customize them! My boyfriend gave me a 78 cb750k last year when I was looking for a bike to chop up. I own a Kawasaki 81 kz440 that I got up and running (plus a few other bikes. LOL) I just started to learn how to work on them and how to rip the down, build new stuff and build it back up again. I'm very addicted. I'm almost done my build on the 78. Hopefully I will be able to start posting pics soon. I have a lot of them.

A bit about me, female, a mom (youngest turns 18 this year whohoo!) I'm owned by a dog (who features in many pictures lol) and I'm in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada.

Nice to meet you all and thanks for having me!

Working on: 78 Cb750k
Waiting for arrival: 73 Cb750

Too late on the polishing. LOL Got hooked on that last fall (although I refuse to go to a mirror shine...on this build! LMAO)

I'm going to start a build thread in the project section. Not sure what's the better option for pictures on here, direct from computer or photobucket?   Also I think I have to have minimum amount of posting before I can put pictures up, so I have to count to five. LOL

No worries, they will be more pictures then necessary! LOL ;D
