CB350 vintage racers?
« on: October 12, 2006, 08:54:28 PM »
I need some pictures and info. Any of you guys race CB350s or have a replica for fun? Links to pages are cool too. I'm on the fence, mine is in pretty good shape. I need a new seat cover and a rear fender. Or do I strip it to the frame and rebuild as a replica? Or a Cafe? Maybe I should get three of them and do it all.

I will end up with a CB125 in stock form, and a CL175 in stock form so that points to Vintage racer for the 350...

Anyone else in this dilemma?

I was going to post some pics but the latest microsoft update saves pics too big (160kb) and I dont know how to reduce size to 128kb and keep as a jpeg?
I only have an early version of paint shop pro, never worked out how to fully utilise it so I'm not going to upgrade to something with even more features ( and costs ::))
I can get size down as a tif.  but cant post that?

I've been drooling over the Ohio Vintage stuff for awhile now. I want/need that alloy tank bad!

I have a CB350 right now that I am getting ready to do the vintage road race rep or cafe racer. There are plenty of guys out there with most of the parts or goodies that you need or want. I am finishing up a 550 right now and getting ready to tackle the 350. Parts and ideas are plentiful. they make a nice looking good running bike when finished. Good Luck!

Hi,
I've got this:
A wonderful replica of the RSC production racer: http://www.in.net/~eholman/cyb350.htm

And some links in french: http://monsite.wanadoo.fr/twinclassic/page8.html

I'm in a similar dilemma; 2 years ago I bought a 360 cheap on eBay, it's not completed but it runs and sounds great with the open pipes. I still don't know if I want to build:
a) a racer, preferably an RSC replica for hillclimbs and classic racing
b) a scrambler, as I got a pair of CL headers
c) use the CL headers to build a flattracker
or
d) restore it to original police spec.

Cheers, Remi
