So I have to replace a piston...bummer...is it better to replace all four pistons, if so would I need to bore out if I buy a set that is 47.5mm? .5 over stock...these are easier to find than the standard size and cheaper for some reason!

What happened to the one bad piston, did it get damaged running or some other way.Did the cylinder or head get damaged. How many miles on the engine, new rings at least while it is apart. Measurements can be taken to determine piston slop on the 3 good ones so maybe a new/used piston and rings could get you by on the cheaper. Just not enough info for folks.
And of course you know bigger pistons means a cylinder bore out.

well, I started the project a little over a year ago and had a guy helping me, then I lost contact with him while he had a piston...I go back into contact with him and he can't find the piston. I now have to replace it. not sure of how many miles are on it...it says 000000...ish. I do know that the last time it ran was 1982...cylinder heads are in great shape.

Has anyone ever bought anything from the "cruzinimage_co"

Bought my carb repair kits from him. Was surprised by how fast I received it. Only took a week from Japan to the Netherlands.
Also contacted him later for other parts which weren't listed. Got a fast reply, no perfect english but that's ok. He didn't have the part sadly but I'd sure do business with him again if I ever need something he has.
The kit itself was pretty nice, all parts went on fairly easy besides the rubber ring. It was an O and not preformed. And well the price was very nice, for less then the cost of 1 OEM kit I got all 4.

Well I don't have any experience with their pistons but considering the other stuff was/still is of a good quality I don't see a reason why not.
Just checked but their location shows Japan to me  ???

Btw: Forgot to mention in my last post I also ordered brake shoes from him and they are exactly the same as the OEM ones.
