How about size? Like 0-1", 2-3", etc... In thousands or ten thousands?

Ha Frank! Yeah, I will post pics and be more descriptive....

I am trying to move and the Bridgeport will be the last thing taken out of the house. Anybody remove the knee before? I brought it into the basement with everything removed except knee....thinking it might be easier with it off.

Never leaving Plain ville. Found a nice house with a shop space. Will put up a pic or two when it happens. Everything is tied up in small town conservation and planning board work.

I could use few endmills - like 1/4" and smaller.

Hey what are you using for power?  We're in a situation where we have to use 120 or spend a bunch to string up 220-240 for a long ways.

There is a converter, but it is archaic and makes the most obnoxious 60 cycle buzze and it's loud. i an't remember the brand of what everyone reccomends, but I wonder what are you using to put machines in your living room?

Are your places all wired up for 220?

I thought 220 was everywhere, 3 phase harder to find.

Yeah, three phase is what we're looking to convert to with a box that plugs into 120 house current. There is one brand that they all reccomend.  It must be a phase perfect.

Oh, that is my permanent annoyance with the US mains electricity, no 3 phase for residential.

I am using a static phase converter. WNY $40? Works great. I think I've got a YouTube video up with it...

Soooo cooool!!

I recently picked up a pair of 1961 machines... A shop smith and a saw smith. The saw smith works perfectly but the shop smith needs a new control sheave assembly and speed belt. I'm looking forward to having a drill press and a lathe to work with.

And scotch pads. I did a WD40 spray and then shrink wrapped everything. We moved in September and are finally into the new place. I will post up some pics of the carnage. My poor lathe handles. They look like they spent the months in seawater. Either way.....I have a real spot now.

We still have a small lathe, I think it is a South Bend. It's small enough to put it in a garage and still park a car. Then there's another tiny one.
