Clutch, shim required?
« on: March 23, 2013, 12:48:03 PM »
Hi all,
I'm assembling the clutch on my 1972 cb500 four and wondering if a little play in the clutch assembly is fine or if I require another shim. I have already have one but it is still moving by half mm.

yeah a little too far, find another shim, they are hard to find, they come in a few thicknesses, when its too loose you get adjusting trouble, the action of disengagement moves the whole basket in and out untill the slack is taken up,heres some part numbers for your search, david silvers might have them.
