Jeg holder til like ved lillestrøm :)

New update..  got my gauge.. fabricated and welded a bracket underneath the top triple tree clamp. gave it a few degrees angle towards me, and called it a day. needs some paint tho..

started polishing up a few bits. started with the rear hub/brake unit,

and hopefully sometime this week, my new tank and seatbase will arrive.

Is that a tach and speedo in one? That tank and seat is sick as well.

motogadget tacho/speedo in one. also has trip distance, total odometer indicator lights, high beam ,  temp warnings etc. very nice, but pricey unit.

long time since i posted. have not had any time to work on the bike for a while.. small update now.

modified frame under seat, footpeg mounts custom made from 25mm tubing, extra bracing underneath, lightweight but SOLID.

testing the new position, love the "stance" on this compared to the stock bike.

Detail shot of the mounts.

mounting points for the rear shocks finished.. tacked in place, still have to weld it up properly, but its "done"

plan is to have the frame finished as soon as possible, but still have to make mounts for the seat, tank electronics, etc..

but progress is progress even if its just mounts for the shocks :)

Made a stopper for the front fork to prevent it from hitting the tank. Uses stock pegs on the gsxr fork and a small plate under the frame of the bike.  Turned out ok i think.

i bought the correct bearings from http://www.allballsracing.com/index.php/forkconversion
straight swap. changed bearings, installed fork. I think i put a small spacer underneath the lower bearing to make sure the clamp did not catch on the frame(test this with the stock gsxr bearing before changing to tapered ones).

height and eveything else is spot on. much easier swap than i had planned for.
Need to make/machine a new upper dust cover if i want it to be perfect, ill deal with that sometime during the winter.

covering the area under the seat.. this area will eventually hide all electronics except the battery ( will be hidden in the hump behind the seat)
The alu plate will be polished  just like the tank/seat combo.

Next on my to do list is to make the mounts for the tank and seatpan.
