The first 3 years 75-77 of Wings the only bike faster in the 1/4 mile was your Kaw Z1 Stev-o.

That's amazing, had no idea. I'm buying one now! Just joking, I'm like you were, dhall, never had any interest in them, but like the naked ones.

old post, I know but...

Steve, I  am so going to get this 75 wing down there when it is done just to race you!

Spent sometime today and got the carbs dismantled and pieces in numbered bags. I still need to separate the carb housing to do more cleaning.  Next week I'll order a Randakk's rebuild kit.

I bought randakk's kit and video. It is so worth it.  I am cheap as hell, but I sprung the extra for the video and  I would do it again.  I also ordered jets to do the off-idle fix. I probably would have soldered them closed and drilled them, but I was missing one anyway.

I got some work to do yet, and then I  will need a few months to sort out any issues... perhaps this fall.

Joe and I have raced before - our 550 cafes on the Rally last year. Remember Joe?  Was pretty close, i pulled slightly. Power shifts, no problem.  I don't typically launch, hard on the clutch. Rather do a rolling start...

Me either Toy :( I ride around all the time thinking I might get lucky and see a bike for sale or just park beside the house. I've seen a few, but never any old Honda's.

I bought this 75 a year ago for $500. 34k miles. Bottom pic is where its at now. had to remove tank for major cleaning. Has Randaks carb kit...took prob 10 hours to rebuild. Rebuilt entire front brake and currently working on the rear. Still need fuel pump. Has Dyna S with orig coils and extra ballast resistor though one coil wire is gooey in the middle, so prob in need of new coils and wires.

I queued the video up on my laptop in the garage and just followed it step by step as I worked on the carbs.

Got my GW carbs put all back together today after using the Randakk kit. This kit is first rate and I recommend it to anyone needing to go through their carbs. It has everything you need. Next I'll replace fuel filter and clean petcock out and put in new seals(comes in kit) and than put carbs back on the Wang and get everything hooked back up. Next rebuild front and rear calipers, replace pads front and rear, get new tires. Not to much longer and she'll be ready for the hwy 8)

I rode mine today. Schidt weather, but great ride. 180 miles on 3/4 of a tank is pretty good, I think? ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ha ha, I wouldn't have chosen any other bike for the ride yesterday Larry! (unless there's a bike with a roof and doors on it, that is...............) ;D
