Engine case saver chain guard.

Anyone know where to get one of these for a CB750K2. The thing that bolts around the countershaft sprocket so the chain doesn't bust up the engine cases if it breaks. I saw one somewhere, $100 if you don't mind but I can't find one now.

I have no idea how to buy on that "gallery" and which one is for the 750K2?
If you google Godfreys garage with ONE F you get vacuum cleaners. Different story with two Fs.
Still looking for an easy way to buy one of these.

Or just take your $100 and buy a quality chain from a reputable company. If they can take a modern 1000cc sport bike's power, they can handle your CB, even heavily modded.

Also make sure your battery vent tube is routed correctly ;)

Good point, it's good to have the peace of mind though even though I've never had a chain debacle I'd freak if I did my cases in after all that's going into this old basket case. Still, after all the years since the last 750 I can't see myself going hard this time around.

Chains are much better now.

Remember a master link is only about 60 percent strength vs standard link.

A riveted link is about 90 percent.

I doubt you'll break a modern quality chain that is properly assembled

If you really need it, you can have mine.  I took it out and it just sits on my work bench.
