I also finally received a tour of Ekpent's garage. This is only half of it and I understand there is another building with more bikes. Front and center is one of his three Suzuki GT750's.

So, Eric's bikes are just for show? He didn't ride??

He has several that he rides, but for what ever reason he doesn't do longer rides.

I've ridden with him several times...different bike every time!  Last vjmc ride was an epic battle between Eric's cb900f, a Z1, and a naked gl1000...with my 750 struggling to keep up.  I will be sure and pick on Eric for not participating more in the rally.
If it works good, it looks good...

Bankerdanny and Steve-O, Thank you so much. I will work on trying to post pictures and, if all else fails, will find a 10 year old to show me how. The people on this forum are great. You really do meet the nicest people on a Honda.

WI

PZ  made it to WI fine, but plans fell through to do a hand off to the MN crew. With no one to deliver PZ to, we decided to make the best of it and give PZilla a little road time before being boxed up.  Couldn't have been a better day -  blue sky, upper 60's, and a chance to ride with Old Scrambler and Johnie.  I wish I would have brought my real camera, but instead borrowed my wife's phone which fits in my jacket pocket nice, but doesn't take very good pics --- sorry in advance for the poor quality.  Had a blast meeting Old Scrambler - he should really write a book about all his travels on a  SOHC,  or at least a web site, great stories.  Riding behind Johnie's KO with the HM300 pipes was another highlight for me, what a great sound.  Decided to do a short scenic trip around Lake Winnebago.

Getting ready at Johnie's - OS's K3, Johnie's KO, my K2  (Dennis getting ready)

Dennis (Old Scrambler) Johnie,  Jerry H

Scenic stop  -> (johnnie/OScrambler)

Stopped half way around the lake for a bite to eat.  PZ took that time to check out the other rides (he was in a foul mood and only wanted to ride on OS's K3 which had a small windshield mounted for his riding comfort)

Back on the road, here's the view from the far side of the lake....

From there it was off to some really nice MC roads to OS's place - checked out some of his projects, then headed home.

Had a great time!

NE WI - Accidently put this in the Great Lakes section and thought I should add it here too. Thanks for the nice write up Jerry. We had a KO, K2 & K3 for the team. Today Jerry H and I met up with Dennis aka Old Scrambler at my place in Oshkosh. Took a couple pics, toured the shop and had a formal introduction to PZ. Having no one in MN able to do a handoff we drove around Lake Winnebago on what was a perfect blue sky day. Had lunch in Stockbridge and then headed south on some fantastic country roads to old scramblers shop. We had great conversation and a few times PZ was giving us the sad face  :( feeling left out of the cycle discussion. PZ did mention he knew Mr. Honda well and accidentally stepped on his house in the movie Godzilla vs the Thing. Below are the 2 pics I got before we left on the ride...

Thanks for the write-ups guys.............it truly was a FINE day.  Its not often that you see that many sets of pipes in one place! When we were at Johnie's shop it looked a new bike showroom from the '70s.

The MN rep could not make it to the handoff. Old scrambler mailed GZ to MN in a padded Jetstream the beginning of October.

We were out stretching our legs on Saturday. Weather broke long enough to dry the roads, but all the leaves are gone and snowline is coming down.  I was hoping to get south for a bit and pay a visit to brandEn, but scheduled havent panned out

you put yours up for the winter a week too soon, D.
In the valleys between Monroe and Snoqualmie. Surprising the number of riders out.  Cold as ufck, but I'm hoping to get all the way up to the pass this weekend.

Before flybox mails the pimp to AZ, is there anyone willing to show him a good time? The only requirements are that you post pictures of your adventures, and the lizard makes it to AZ by Spring.. Greg, Matt, Mooshie, CoachDoc???

For now, we're just chillin' till someone steps up and says they want the rock!

This is why we are changing the format for next year. Just when is the ideal riding season in the PNW? BTW, I was in Monroe when St Helens blew the second time...

GZ would be better off farther south than here for the time being.  It is going to start looking like winter most directions out of here this weekend.  Not much new we can do with him, since we already got Nevada and eastern Oregon and Josh covered Montana and Wyoming.
