Gauge lights working on wrong ignition setting
« on: April 04, 2013, 04:40:06 PM »

When I put my 77 550 in the garage in the fall, everything was working fine.  I touched nothing over the winter, and now when I turn on the ignition and start the bike the gauge lights are off.  Nothing in the light bucket was loose - all wires seem fine.  Then I noticed that the gauge lights WILL work when the key is turned to the Park position (and of course the headlight goes out).  What the heck?  I know nothing has been touched over the winter, can this be a bad ground somewhere?
