I know it's an odd request, but I'm looking for RC engineering parts that are too worn or damaged to re-use. Lightened alternators, cranks, rockers, cams, pistons, golden rods, super rods, big block, springs, retainers, ARD magnetos, whatever. I have a little research project going....

mildly damaged to totally destroyed welcome.

Good luck finding the drive gear, as they as they are as scarce as rocking-horse #$%*...

If you are talking about the gear at the bottom of the distributor, it is a stock Mallory part from their VW distributor. A special note.... The distributors used in the RC Engineering angle drive run in reverse rotation. That means the points cam and advance mechanism are reversed. So you can't use any VW designed distrbutor or magneto in the RC Engineering angle drive setup unless it is setup for the reverse rotation.

Talk with Mike Rieck. He has four of my heads and the unusable one had RC anodized retainers and was even stamped RC ENG on the bottom if I recall correctly.Along with the name STEAKLEY and BOB etched on the bottom.. I also have a 71mm block done by RC with the stock "736cc" stamp removed and replaced with just the number 1000. It has the standard copper O-ring's and a small corner of the block was shaved to accommodate the plate for the Hilborn fuel pump drive.

I have a non working RC engineering electronic ignition. I also have a duplex chain and sprocket set but I don't know if they are from RC engineering.
